Tech startup Vice Industry Token has today announced that it will soon pay viewers to watch porn. Users will in turn be rewarded with tokens to be used towards discounts on premium content and other services from a variety of leading adult entertainment websites.

“The commercial model with sponsored content is broken,” insists Vice Industry Token Inc. founder and CEO Stuart Duncan. “People’s attention is a valuable and scarce resource. The Vice Industry Token platform upends the ad-driven commercial model to capitalize on the new 'Attention Economy', permitting porn publishers to actively engage with viewers by rewarding them with VIT for their genuine attention and authentic engagement.”

In order to obtain VIT, producers will ask viewers to perform specific actions set by the given site curator on participating platforms. Each engagement will then lead to a fractional amount of VIT, while additional VIT will be awarded to content producers and curators.

When purchasing VIT, you will also receive discounts of up to 80% for products and services from established partners.

Vice Industry Token is scheduled to begin selling VIT tokens as early as February 15, making 2 billion of the 4 billion tokens available to the public for purchasing. Users have already reserved more than $5 million USD of VIT.
