If you head to the Cedar Creek Reservoir in Texas you might stumble upon the rustic CCR1 Residence by Wernerfield Architects. Constructed mainly from wood, the design also features concrete, steel and glass elements that play off its lush surroundings.
This mix of industrial versus a teak wood contrast is apparent throughout the dwelling, continuing to the living area and bedrooms. Floor to ceiling glass sliding doors surround a vast part of the home, offering a strong connection to the Texan landscape.
Stepping outside to an entertainer's paradise, the area is comprised of a sunken bocce court and fire pit courtyard that looks out onto the neighbouring lake.
