For the first episode of the Apple Music-exclusive Carpool Karaoke: The Series, Will Smith and James Corden teamed up to sing a few of our retro favorites.

The duo started off by belting out Smith's classics "Boom! Shake the Room" and "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It," with a marching band providing a little help on the latter.

After the singalong, Will Smith casually mentioned that Barack Obama once told him he could play him in a movie. The former President said Smith had "the ears for the role," that his first record on the radio came out when he was still in high school, and controversially — that he loves pineapple on pizza.

Corden won't be in every episode of the new Carpool Karaoke: The Series, but the sneak peek at the end of the above video shows John Legend, Gwyneth Paltrow and Sophie Turner, aka Sansa Stark, all taking turns in the driving seat.

Watch the first six minutes of Will Smith's appearance above, then head over to Apple Music to watch the full episode.

In other news, here's how Martin Shkreli got his hands on Lil Wayne’s unreleased Tha Carter V.
