Spotify previously announced a "hateful conduct" policy just over a month ago, which led to the removal of artists like XXXTentacion on the music streaming service, but the company had since canceled that policy beginning earlier this June, and reinstated the Florida rapper’s music.

Now, following the tragic death of XXXTentacion (real name Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy), who was shot and killed by unidentified gunmen in Deerfield Beach, Florida at the age of 20, music news Twitter account @chartdata, has just revealed that XXXTentacion's hit single "SAD!," had broken Spotify's single day streaming record with a mind-boggling 10.4 million streams on June 19, surpassing the previous record holder with Drake's "God's Plan."

"SAD!" appears on XXXTentacion's latest album, ? which released in March and debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200. Have a listen to the classic track once more below.

Now, read our op-ed on why XXXTentatcion’s passing reminds us to mourn, but not forget.
