Y-3, the iconic linkup between adidas and Japanese fashion legend Yohji Yamamoto, joined the “frozen yellow” wave today at Paris Fashion Week. The brand, which was doing sports-fashion crossovers for years before anyone said “athleisure” out loud, unveiled an opening salvo of looks featuring the Kanye-endorsed neon yellow at its FW18 runway show in Paris.

Yohji and co. opened up with comically oversized scarves, sneakers, sidebags, and tees in the trending color. The rest of the show was pretty business as usual for the brand — Y-3 is all about sporty pieces for urban fashionistas, and that means high-performance textiles, tech-y detailing, and buckets of black nylon.
