Location: Paris, France
Season: Fall/Winter 2018
Key Pieces: The dark patchwork layered denim, the beige riding pants with the bejeweled crotch, and of course, the stiletto UGGs.
Editor’s Notes: After unveiling its collab with UGGS last season, French brand Y/Project has sent thigh-high stiletto UGG boots down the runway. The voluminous boots were angled in a way that was reminiscent of chaps, and were optioned in mint green, red and green tartan, as well as the classic UGGs brown.
Y/Project also sent slightly more wearable slouchy knee-high UGGs down the runway, while elsewhere we got a glimpse of more unconventional footwear with a cherry red half peep-toe stiletto.
The rest of the collection featured oversized fur, throwback bandage-style dresses in a patchwork of rainbow colors, Argyle sweaters, floor-length silk dressing gowns, and carefully placed jewels. Browse the collection above and let us know what you think in the comments.
In other fashion week news, Maison Margiela’s FW18 womenswear show was iridescent AF.
