Yamaha's Yard Built program recently experienced a first, collaborating with a fashion label. In joining with Japanese selvedge denim company Iron Heart, they not only present the first fashion-related joint effort, but also their initial denim-inspired Yard Built motorcycle. In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the XJR, the two appropriately worked on the XJR1300, as they came up with a custom cafe racer. Iron Heart founder Shinichi Haraki wanted to build something that was more "grown up," as inspiration came from '70s and '80s Japanese and European bikes.

For this collaboration, the seat has been done up in 21oz denim, then showcasing pure silver rivets throughout. Kineo tubeless rims were also placed on the racer, making for a lighter overall build, while custom twin stainless steel mufflers then draw attention to the rear.
