Yasiin Bey Spits Fresh Bars on Buy Muy Drugs' New Track "Buy My App"

He may be entering retirement, but Yasiin Bey hasn't completely given up on music just yet. For our latest taste of the artist formerly known as Mos Def, we find the hip-hop veteran joining forces with Buy Muy Drugs.

Buy Muy Drugs is an experimental hip-hop collective, gearing up to release their self-titled debut LP next month. On "Buy My App," the song can be described as "an Afro-Brazilian percussive mien hybridized with the aggressive, federally-sanctioned genre: loom-bap," per the group's SoundCloud.
