To say that YELLE are one of the more colorful artists in today's electronic music scene would be, at best, a disservice. This is, after all, an electronic outfit who has opened for Katy Perry's European tour. So it seems only natural that they would inevitably cross paths with PC Music, the elusive label known for producing music that is the sonic equivalent of laughing gas. The result is the above remix courtesy of Kane West, who has turned YELLE's new single "Here & Now" into a candy-coated fun house of sound.
We reached out to YELLE to comment on the track, and here's what they had to say:
"We adore dumb club music. We think it's clever, liberating. Your body imagines the best moves, your face the best attitudes. Kane West is the best DJ for this, so we had to ask him! We have always been very connected to PC Music, Sophie and A. G. Cook already did a remix for us... Kane West to keep dancing in the most spontaneous way! It is clearly a remix to listen to very loud, whilst brushing your teeth with a friend without putting too much toothpaste so it doesn't break the mood."
And there you have it. Turn it up loud and get your toothpaste at the ready everyone.
