YOD Design Lab recently completed these individual guest houses, made entirely from timber, in just two months. Located in the Poltava region of Ukraine, the guest homes are nestled within a pine forest. Each unit has been constructed using a light metal frame that weights only 2,200 kilograms together with the remainder of the structure. The rooms are sited on timber decks that allow the structures to be positioned without harming the natural landscape, as opposed to typical foundations. Measuring 32 square meters, natural materials and finishes have been used throughout the interior, evoking a warm and inviting atmosphere.
