SSENSE

The latest releases from Yohji Yamamoto have hit the online storefront of Montreal-based retailer SSENSE. True to previous lines from the avant-garde Japanese designer, his latest work comes in dark, monochromatic colors and fashion-forward flowing fits.

A testament to Yamamoto’s love for draping, deconstruction, and unconventional proportions, you’ll likely have already caught sight of the label’s FW18 lightweight shirts. Coming in a signature oversized cut, they act as the base for eye-catching imagery such as manga-esque graphics, photos, and loud image/text collages.

But while the tencel graphic shirts are without doubt the runway highlights, here at Highsnobiety we’re massive fans of the line’s relaxed fit graphic t-shirts — a perfect addition to your all-black everything ’fits this fall.

SSENSE also stocks some of Yamamoto’s collaborative work, including a logo-printed transitional bomber and a French Terry hoodie (as pictured on Drake above) made with New Era, not forgetting the brand’s own take on a classic Dr. Martens 1490 boot.

Followers of Yohji Yamamoto’s designs will know all about the associated price-tags, but if you’re on the hunt for an investment piece to see in the new season, look no further than our picks from the brand’s latest output below.
