Taiwanese artist Yung Cheng Lin's recent photographs feature extreme contortions while tackling issues of female body modification. Lin, who's commonly referred to as 3CM, often visualizes social standards of women through simple tools and materials that interact with the human body as a means to convey a message. In this series, each image incorporates a recurring red thread, digitally manipulated to give the illusion that it’s been sewn through the woman’s skin.
