With the release of his third studio album, Stranger set for this Friday, November 10, Yung Lean has released a corresponding campaign with a short film bearing the same title.

Directed by Suzie and Leo, the seven-minute visual is inspired by traditional Westerns as the Sad Boy gawd strays from his usual signature spaced out hip-hop sound and stars as a wordless, bloodied, and tormented soul who stumbles open a chance at redemption. A short synopsis of the clip states, “A fugitive turns into a demon then a sad clown and finally becomes a man again.”

Check out the video above, then after, listen to “Metallic Intuition” from his upcoming album.
