Key Pieces: ZDDZ’s latest collection has a ton of strong items, but personal favorites include the “life vest” bomber jackets, oversized white shirt, and tape-covered ankle boots.
Release Date: July 20
Editor’s Notes: London-based womenswear label ZDDZ is known for making sartorial statements. Last fall it was austerity. For this season, the Russian designer behind the brand, Dasha Selyanova, delivers “ADULT/CHILD,” a collection exploring the psychological aspects of growing up and adulthood.
Many of the items in the FW18 collection nod towards self-protection, with inspiration clearly drawn from life vests and safety jackets. Every item is somewhat of a statement within itself, and apart from the key pieces noted above, you’ll find oversized chunky knitwear, ZDDZ logo tees, branded biker boots, and accessories.
