House in Asamayama by Kidosaki Architects Studio

The residence by Japanese architect Hirotaka Kidosaki is perched on a lush mountain in Nagano. The client was searching for this ideal site for many years. The architect focused on opening the house and its view to the overwhelming natural panorama surrounding it. The single-story horizontal house emerges above the woods on four concrete pillars. Inside, the living room has an unobstructed view of the Mount Asama and the surrounding green vista. The residents can totally enjoy the natural panorama from any room in the house and very special attention was paid to the view from the bathtub.

Take a look at the pictures in the gallery above.
