The largest congregation of sneakerheads occurred this past weekend at Sneaker Con New York. The convention played host to a deluge of fans, either there to simply peruse the overwhelming selection of sneakers or to try their luck at acquiring the most covetable shoes around. For those who had more ambitious aspirations, vendors had the Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Red October” up for grabs, as well as older Yeezy models. We also happened upon some very rare Air Jordan IVs – including one from Hender Scheme – VIII and XV silhouettes, as well as a Jordan Future x Supreme custom. Other standouts included the John Geiger “Misplaced Checks” Nike Air Force 1 High, a Nike Dunk Low Pro SB “Pigeon,” and no shortage of Kyrie 1’s.
