Design
Where form meets function

Getting models to show off your latest collection on the catwalk is so overdone; what a fashion designer really needs is illustrated versions of female movie villains strutting their wares.

That’s presumably what London-based illustrator, David Murray, would tell you. In a series of sketches posted to his personal tumblr, Murray depicts a number of movie femme fatales wearing the SS16 collections of a number of top designers.

Catwoman (Batman Returns) appears in Christopher Kane, Poison Ivy (Batman & Robin) models Dries Van Noten, May Day (James Bond: A View to Kill) is decked out in Jacquemus, Elle Driver (Kill Bill) wears Vetements, O-Ren Ishii (Kill Bill) is adorned in Marni, while Harley Quinn (Suicide Squad) rounds the series off with some Haider Ackermann.
