Fashion weeks are taking place around the world and brands everywhere are showing off their upcoming collections; however for this Parisian brand, the streets are their runway and streetwear stores their showroom. The LES (ART)ISTS SS17 collection is here to disturb the mode, here’s a first look.
Inspired by the unsettling nature of football hooliganism, their disruptive Spring/Summer 2017 collection merges streetwear aesthetics with sportswear. Hoodies, tees, and outerwear are heavy with provocative photographic prints and slogans referencing Paris youth culture - blue and orange penetrate the street-ready black and white color palette, adding an extra dimension to the collection.
CLUB LES (ART)ISTS started selling T-shirts in 2012, led by a passion for art, design, fashion, music and culture. Since, they’ve collaborated with STARTER Black Label, Schott, Clot and Lucien Pellat-Finet, among others. Continuing the momentum, collabs with Spoiled Kids and Kway are on the way; however details are under lock and key, so more info on these soon.
