At this summer's Comic Con, Warner Bros. surprised its fandom by releasing the first official Justice League trailer, with the clip in question seemingly pointing to a far more irreverent affair than the upcoming blockbusters DC Universe predecessors (and box office flops) Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad.

Posting via his Twitter account, Justice League director Zack Snyder has now given us a first glimpse of the Batsuit from the film, or as he labels it, the "Tactical Batsuit" and, contrary to the lighthearted vibes we saw in the aforementioned teaser, the ensemble is just as imposing and dark as ever.

Initially, the bad resolution makes it difficult to get a proper grasp of the new garms, but it's not hard to notice a similarity between Chris Nolan's The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises designs, while added goggles are also evocative of Snyder's Nite Owl character from Watchmen.

Here's the photo again, this time with the brightness pitched up:

OK, so it's a lot like Synder's Nite Owl from Watchmen. Whether the goggles are a permanent fixture, however, still remains to be seen.

Justice League doesn't drop until November next year, but rumors of who the movie's prime antagonist might be are already circulating...
