After recently launching public group chat messenger rooms, Facebook is introducing yet another new feature to Messenger. Now, you can play various games directly on the messaging platform.

In the latest version of the app, you can open a conversation with a friend — or multiple friends — and begin gaming by simply tapping on the game controller icon just below where you type your message. From there, choose a game and being playing right away. Once the competition is finished, scores will be highlighted within the conversation, allowing participants to challenge one another once again.

Games on Messenger are the first to be rolled out on Facebook’s new Instant Games cross-platform gaming experience. You can take advantage of titles like PAC-MAN, Galaga, SPACE INVADERS, EverWing, TRACK & FIELD 100M and Words with Friends: Frenzy.

Look for additional games to roll out in the coming weeks/months.
