If it feels like it has been a long time since you heard from London Grammar, it may be because it has been a long time. The moody trio quickly rose to prominence on the excellent Disclosure track "Help Me Lose My Mind," but the band has not released any new music of their own since the 2013 full length If You Wait. Until now, that is.
The video is a wonderfully restrained visual, a style that is necessary for the big surprise of its second half to truly hit home. It begins with lead singer Hannah Reid singing a capella in a darkened room, one that it seems she is alone in. But when the lights come on it becomes clear she is far from solo, as the remaining members of the band appear in tow with a symphony orchestra to help bring the song to its dramatic conclusion.
