It seems a given that the yet-to-be-titled Hans Solo Star Wars movie is going to be off the chain. With Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover and Emilia Clarke's involvement already confirmed, Woody Harrelson is the latest star to be snapped up by Lucasfilm.
A surefire household name, Harrelson boasts a CV which includes TV and movie titles such as No County for Old Men, True Detective, Cheers, Zombieland, and most recently, The Hunger Games franchise.
“We couldn’t be more excited to work with an artist with as much depth and range as Woody,” said movie directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. “His ability to find both humor and pathos, often in the same role, is truly unique. He is also very good at ping pong.”
The Hans Solo movie is slated for release at some point in 2018 and is the second standalone in the series following winter smash, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
We'll be updating with news related to the movie as it breaks, so stay posted. In the meantime, here's what went down at the 74th Golden Globes Ceremony.
