Tune in and turn up

We don’t think anyone saw this coming. Justin Bieber remarkably channelled Chris Lilley’s sketch show Summer Heights High in response to some invasive paparazzi encroaching on his personal living space. The unexpected event occurred whilst the Canadian musician was staying in Australia whilst out on the Oceanic leg of his Purpose tour. Watch Biebs’ surprisingly good craic below.

If you’re unfamiliar with Chris Lilley’s shows such as Angry Boys, Summer Heights High, Jonah from Tonga and Ja’mie, we’d strongly suggest you check them out. Biebs’ “Puck you miss” was a tongue-in-cheek imitation of Jonah from Summer Heights High, which is actually a somewhat ingenious – and probably unprecedented – way of scaring off the dreaded papz. Fair play to him. Compare his efforts to the real thing below.

Recently, Biebs took a break from touring to try out some of his own beat-making. He recently took to Instagram to post a new video featuring some tranquil beats, mood-lighting and, notably, a portrait of himself gazing onwards at the whole even taking place.
