Where the runway meets the street

Brand: Norse Store

Season: Summer 2017

Key Pieces: The lookbook’s visvim highlights, coupled with the distinct tailoring often visible across the collections of Junya Watanabe.

Editor’s Notes: Shot within the walls of a quintessential Danish institute, Copenhagen-based fashion retailer, Norse Store, has once again paired the aesthetic of its chosen location to that of its clothing selection and design heritage. Despite many likely to label this editorial as something typically “Scandinavian,” Norse Store has in fact diverted such a common misconception and channeled it into a distinctly Danish lookbook.

Listed amongst the project’s looks are brands such as Engineered Garments, Junya Watanabe, Margaret Howell, N.HOOLYWOOD, visvim, and many more. The lookbook is an ode to well-considered curation from both the aspect of outfit composition and Norse Store’s dialed buying regime.

Dover Street Market’s recent sample sale caused quite the stir, so we took to the streets to bring you a roundup of what the city’s finest wore to the occasion here.
