Watch Shia LaBeouf Play John McEnroe in 'Borg/McEnroe' Trailer

Last year, it was reported that Shia LaBeouf would play tennis bad boy John McEnroe in a new biopic, and now the first teaser trailer for Borg/McEnroe has premiered.

For those of you unaware, John McEnroe was a former professional tennis player, often rated among the greatest players of all time in the sport, especially for his touch on the volley.

The upcoming movie showcases the story of one of McEnroe's greatest rivalries with Bjorn Borg (played by Sverrir Gudnason), a Swedish former tennis player who is also considered to be one of the greatest in tennis history, and their legendary duel during the 1980's Wimbledon tournament is particularly highlighted.

Enjoy the trailer above and expect Borg/McEnroe to hit theaters on Friday, September 15, 2017.
