While eagerly awaiting the return of Game of Thrones, we've been analyzing and investigating each clue and promo we could get our hands on. The latest trailer, released just yesterday, gives us a whole lot more to think about. You can watch it above before reading on.

The newest season will be the shortest yet with just 7 episodes produced. Luckily, however, the episodes are getting a little longer; the average is around 63 minutes, with the finale spanning a crazy 83 minutes to make it the longest episode to date.

Judging from the latest trailer, however, producers will need every minute of that time because it looks like it will be absolutely packed full of battles, suggested alliances and lots of fire.

Below, we broke down some of the key takeaways from the fast-paced trailer.

Sansa will play an important role

The trailer begins with a shot of Sansa walking defiantly through the snow while Littlefinger urges her, "don't fight in the North or the South. Fight every battle everywhere, always — in your mind."

It then ends with a very ominous voiceover of Sansa saying, "when the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives." While last season Jon Snow was crowned “King of the North,” if Sansa’s prominence in this trailer is anything to go by, another Stark sibling is going to be vying for power. And if we learned anything from when Sansa fed her rapist husband to the dogs — we definitely shouldn’t underestimate her.

Bran has a Wheelchair

Without Hodor (RIP) to carry him around, Bran Stark has been in desperate need of a reliable form of transportation and in the brief shot we get of him, it looks like he now has an actual wheelchair. That said, Hordor has been present in a lot of the season 7 promotion, sparking rumors that he could return in some capacity, so Bran might have his old transportation back again.

It also looks like Bran’s back in Winterfell, alongside an unidentified man with a bald spot — could it be the new maester?

There will be lots of battles

Battles are obviously a given in Game of Thrones, but the new trailer shows that we can expect the final season to be brutal and bloody. It looks like Kings Landing could be under attack, with a shot of Jaime riding through a body-littered battlefield.

We also see what could be Dothraki cavalry attacking Lannister soldiers, one of The Unsullied killed by arrows, Jaime and Bronn ordering Lannister archers — perhaps fighting The Unsullied, Theon and Yara in a fire-engulfed battle at sea — and Jon Snow on a snowy battlefield alone across from a crowd of wights. Basically, it’s going to be a bloody season.

Dany and her dragons Takes back Dragonstone

While previous clips have showed glimpses of what seemed like Dany in Dragonstone, this is our first full look at the Princess of House Targaryen taking back her ancestral home. We see a shot of her tearing down the previously hung Baratheon banners while we hear a voiceover of Jon Snow saying, “for centuries our families fought together, against their common enemy. Despite their differences, together. We need to do the same if we’re gonna survive,” which could be taken from the rumored meeting between the two.

Speaking of which, the dragons are huge

In an interview with EW, Game of Thrones director Matt Shakman previously said that Daenery's dragons would be the same size as 747 jumbo jets, and it looks like he wasn't lying. All the shots of the Dragons show they are giant and awe-inducing — and capable of causing a lot of havoc. They grow up so fast.

Tyrion Lannister is looking very worried

We don't see too much of Tyrion in this trailer, but when we do he is looking very worried. We first get a glimpse of Tyrion watching the dragons fly around Dragonstone looking anxious, and a later clip shows him again looking distraught. Is he worried about Westeros or just concerned about the size of the dragons? We'll have to wait and see.

Game of Thrones returns July 16.
