The Agility Peak 5 builds on the success of one of Merrell's most popular trail running shoes. The new design finds the rocker being increased, the weight reduced to less than 10.6 ounces, and the heel cup sculpted for better on foot comfort and less slip. This particular version is then outfitted with a GORE-TEX waterproof membrane to enhance breathability and waterproof performance. As the sneaker is designed for cold weather use, a weatherproof cuff on the ankle and zippered protection on the forefoot help keep snow out when moving through the winter.
