French rapper Teki Latex, known for his “big man swag”, garnered interest from Japanese men’s label Phenomenon who enlisted him to create a capsule collection based on his own aesthetic. Apparently the range spans styles from crisp polos to top hats and canes, but the one piece we’re being shown now is a Cosby-esque blue and white cardigan woven with a top hat and cane toting polar bear. Comme  des Garcons Junya Watanabe MAN worked with The North Face on a couple of pieces for Fall/Winter 2009. Complementing their hunting and outdoor inspired offering of the season, they produced in collaboration with The North Face a vest in several colorways, as well as two coats. The North Face logos are embroidered tonal and nice details include cordoroy and leather patches through out the collection. The pieces are now available from Reinforce.

Following the success of their SEARCH N DESTROY collection, Vancouver-based Division are introducing a new Fall 09 collection titled HOUSE OF REBELLION. Maintaining the brands direction and identity, the first delivery features a set of tees and raglans characterized by “Death from Above”, “Revolt” and “Rebellion” slogans. All tees are made all of organic cotton and come packaged in a custom black envelope, complete with hang tags and stickers.

With days getting shorter and colder, Penfield offers another chance to get the best of fashion, function, practicality and durability for this winter. In this respect, they have released a brand new navy version of the classic Stapleton down jacket in a limited run of 50 pieces. The vintage-inspired jacket features a brown leather shoulder yoke and contrast yellow lining, and is now available exclusively through Penfield’s US online store.

RockersNYC presents their latest collection entitled Methods of Droppin Mental. The colors and images of Fall/Winter 09 show the strength and individuality of the RockersNYC brand alongside three epic collabo pieces. RockersNYC and Cassette Playa unified to create two “outergalatic” t-shirts, while new Venice upstart brand Hellaca worked with RockersNYC to pay homage to Suicidal Tendencies artist Rick Clayton.

RockersNYC also presents a new capsule line called RCKRS. Focusing on the anarchal aesthetic of the early 80’s, RCKRS Fall/Winter 09 sends a strong message while staying simple with clean cuts and basic colors. We get a first look at the upcoming XLarge Spring 2010 Collection. The brand plays with the maritime theme, using lots of navy stripes, flags and other elements of the theme. In general they use lots of color in the collection, while offering an overall well rounded look.

Deluxe will be releasing new pieces from their Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. The drop includes a duffle coat in two colorways, a classic hooded down jacket, as well as a solid ear flap cap, which also comes in two colorways. The new goods will drop on November 7th.

Lupe Fiasco will be curating the Red Box by Goyard at RSVP Gallery in Chicago. Basically the box will get fresh product that he is involved in most of the time on a regular basis. The first installment of the box features t-shirts that Lupe co-designed with punk band Japanese Cartoon. Entitled “Hirstakami In The Dark,” the tee references two major forces in the art world to create a dazzling re-interpretation of the band’s soon-to-be iconic logo.
