Ronnie Fieg got together with Polo Ralph Lauren Footwear to create the Grey Ranger “Cookie” boot which will be releasing this coming “Black” Friday, November 27th exclusively on DavidZ.com as well as the David Z. flagship store in soho. For this limited release Fieg gathered a group of individuals who have influenced him for a photo shoot in Central Park. Photographed by Pj Monte, the shoot features: Ronnie Fieg, Marcus Troy (marcustroy.com), Emeka Obi (10.Deep), Joshua Kissi (streetetiquette.com), Irving Jimenez (Creative Recreation), Sean Munro (Public School NYC) , and Niyah Kerr (David Z).

This winter, UNDRCRWN’s Creative Director, Dustin O. Canalin, will be releasing a very limited capsule collection dubbed D.O.C. (his initials). The D.O.C range is a much more mature line of clothes focusing mainly on cut & sew garments. To compliment the capsule, UNDRCRWN has partnered with Rockport to create the Delta Boot. Constructed of melton wool, gingham, waxed laces and butter soft leather, the boot is limited to 100 pairs and will be available worldwide starting Friday November 27, 2009.

Stussy Deluxe continues to work with Dr. Martens also for Spring 2010. “The Wrap” comes in three colorways next season and features a mixed canvas/suede upper. The shoes definitely look solid. Expect these to arrive at Eastwestworldwide and other retailers for 135 USD.

Bape has released another boot style for Holiday 2009 – the Space Soldier. The high rise boots come as slip-ons and are available now in black leather and beige suede, both featuring an embossed Bape camo pattern on parts of the upper.

Retailer South Willard debuts an eponymous clothing line for Fall/Winter 2009. Heavily inspired by growing up California, the line focuses on functionality and quality, and the production notes attest to this. Jackets are made by Crescent Down Works in Seattle, denim in Okayama Japan, and shoes by Quoddy Trail in Maine. All with meticulous attention to detail. After providing laces for some of the best names in the business, Starks is branching out to work on their first pair of footwear. Collaborating with Timberland, Starks built a corduroy and leather Classic 3-Eye Handsewn Shoe and added some interesting details such as different birds embossed on each of the left and right insoles. These drop next month and will be available through the Starks web store.

Japanese brand museum neu worked for Spring 2010 with Dr. Martens on a series of boots. The classic Dr. Martens boots come with some nice added details, including zippers, elastic fastenings and strap closures. The boots will be released at Rowgage in January 2010.

Tokyo retailer Atmos has worked with Clarks on the Wallabee in two new colorways for Holiday 2009. The iconic shoe comes in a red plaid/black suede and a green plaid/black suede colorway. Around the ankle they placed some black leather and contrasting stitching. The two Wallabees will be released on December 5th.

Another solid product was produced for the Black Sense Market, a product and retail initiative by Japanese magazine Sense. visvim produced their new Beard Boots-Folk in an all black colorway. The outer sole is white and the ventilation holes come in light blue, setting the only color accents on the otherwise black boot. What we like about this boot style the most, is that it is not as bulky as most other hiking boots in the market.

A solid boot for the Holiday season is the Danner Postman Boot. Similar in style to the classic Desert Boot, Danner presents a nice premium version of the silhouette, featuring leather uppers and Vibram soles. The boot comes in black and in brown and is now available at Gettry.

We already showed you the workboots from Bernhard Willhelm’s capsule collection for Spanish footwear brand Camper. Today we have a look at a second pair of higher-cut boots. They are constructed with the same sole unit and washed out black leather toe, but also feature a lighter upper, with a series of brown leather buckles. Now available from Opening Ceremony (along with the workboots and some women’s styles).

Seattle boutique Blackbird worked with Alden on the Wingtip Blucher. The shoe is made of 100% calf leather, features a blucher style wingtip, and was made exclusively for the store. In our mind definitely a nice interpretation of this all-time classic. The shoe comes in an almost black burgundy colorway and is now available.
