PUMA has just released a new video that tells the story of their collaborative 700 Level shoes with UBIQ, as well as the history of the 700 level itself.

Sneaker lovers and sport enthusiasts have so much in common. Both have an innate streak of crazy. Both know that sometimes they have to patiently wait for the things they want most – limited editions, championship titles, etc. But most importantly, both understand that the colors they paint on their faces and the kicks they put on their feet define who they are.

For these reasons, PUMA teamed up with Philadelphia sneaker collector boutique UBIQ. Located in center city, UBIQ sits at the heart of a sport-crazed culture – where brotherly love is more like sibling rivalry and fans have souls made of steel.

The PUMA x UBIQ 700 Level collection drops November 8th at UBIQ Philly.

Nike continues to push the Big Nike Hi. The latest release features a dark grey and white upper, in a mix of suede, leather and reptile skin, while a metallic silver Swoosh sets things off. These have already made their way to Limited Edt.

We have already lots of collaborations and hints from the Reebok Pump 20th Anniversary celebration. Spine TV caught up with Paul Litchfield to talk about the iconic shoe.

After numerous previews we can finally give you a detailed look at the Deluxe x Vans Chukka for Holiday 2009. The sneaker comes in a navy leather/suede colorway with white outer sole and a light brown stripe on the heel, matching the leather lining. It will be released on November 8th.

An interesting new mid top sneaker has released from AG – the Raiders GTS Boots. Taking its inspiration from a well respected Nike sneaker, the boot brings the silhouette into a more high end market, using premium leathers and keeping an overall clean look. The sneaker comes in three colorways and is now available from Rowgage.

Following the SFB Chukka produced with uniform experiment and Fragment (as part of the SOPH. 10th Anniversary celebration) Stussy Creative Director Paul Mittleman offers a look into two different zip-up versions of the high-cut SFB from Nike. In a post titled “The future is now”, Paul goes on to state that “these Nike SFB zip and chuka boots are a movement into an interesting place. 
They are a great design investigation into finding an equilibrium between sport, style, technology and uniform integrity.” Certainly an interesting evolution in footwear. An official release is yet to be confirmed.

After first showing you only a silhouette, we can give you a first little look at the upcoming and much anciticpated Supra Skytop 2 today. The sneaker is an update to the very popular Skytop. Here you see the limited edition “Gradient” colorway, which will see an early release at colette on November 21st. Limited to 600 individually numbered pairs, Chad Muska will be attending the event.

The final Air Zoom Tiempos from the the Nike Sportswear LIVESTRONG Collection will see their release at Nike Sportswear retailers on November 7th. Developed in conjunction with eight globally-based riders, known as THE CTRS, each color represents a different rider and their respective city.

The three remaining contenders consist of Massan from San Fransisco, Yorgo Tloupas representing Paris and Berlin’s Henrik Kuerschner. Paris takes on subtlety with reflective black on black, the Berlin design adds some detailed colored stitches on white (previously seen here), while the San Francisco version goes with dark cinder highlighted by stitches and Swoosh in orange.

A bunch of new sneakers from the Vans Vault Holiday 2009 Collection have been released these past days. The latest drop includes the Chukka Del Barco LX, the Switchback Boots, as well as a Chukka and two Sk8 Hi’s, both featuring wool uppers. The new product is now available at Proper.

Reebok presents yet another collaboration, this time with And A. The store worked on two high top sneakers for Reebok. The outcome is an all black leather high top with metal studs and a black high top with white polka dots and green accents. The collaboration is also further highlighted on the inner sole. The sneakers will both release in the near future at And A.
