Nike has continued its on-fire drop schedule of Air Jordan 1 sneakers with the recent release of the "Obsidian" Air Jordan 1. Bringing something new to the classic “UNC” colorway, the sneaker combines the timeless powder blue shade with some darker color-blocking. Its release was a highly anticipated one and the kicks didn't stick around for long. Fortunately, both stateside and European buyers can still secure a pair at stock market of things StockX.

The original Air Jordan 1 "UNC", which emerged in 1985 as one of the first colorways of the iconic silhouette, paid tribute to Michael Jordan's college days at the University of North Carolina, with the "Tar Heel" blue honoring the university's official colors. That same blue occupies the heel section of the "Obsidian", which bears resemblance to the women's Air Jordan 1 Patent "UNC" that hit shelves back in February this year. While the previous sneaker made use of glossy patent leather, this edition goes for a more smooth aesthetic.

If you missed out on the limited release of the Air Jordan 1 "Obsidian", fear not, StockX is here for all those who caught a not-so-surprising L on this new spin on the lauded "UNC" colorway. For those lucky enough to get their hands on the "Obsidian" on August 31, StockX is also the ideal channel for rehoming your kicks, should you have any second thoughts. To ensure you don't miss out head over to StockX now.
