Al Pacino stars as disgraced college football coach Joe Paterno in the teaser trailer for upcoming HBO film, Paterno.

Paterno, which is set to arrive on the channel this spring, tells the story of the controversial coach whose successful six-decade spell at Penn State was marred by scandal. Paterno's career ended in disgrace when he was fired for withholding information about assistant coach Jerry Sandusky's sexual assaults on high school boys. Paterno possessed knowledge of an incident where Sandusky had raped a young boy but failed to report it to police. Students rioted when Paterno was fired. He died of lung cancer in 2012.
