Whether you’re a devout sneakerhead or just a “light” enthusiast, triple white and triple black leather kicks are staples in any rotation. Not only do they go with everything, but they're also more resilient to passing trends and (after you recover from the pain of the first scuff) they make great beaters. Plus, nothing beats a pair of box-fresh all-white, clean leather kicks. Now, almost three months after relaunching the OG and hot on the heels of its Trail pack, ASICS has finally delivered the GEL-KAYANO 5 in this classic finish.

First debuting in 1999, the GEL-KAYANO 5 was the fifth generation in Toshikazu Kayano's namesake running line. Unlike with its predecessors, when Kayano designed the GEL-KAYANO 5 he purposely made technology visible through features such as the GEL™ tech sole, DUOMAX midsole cushioning, and Quadra-lacing. Although there have been 20 iterations in the franchise since it launched, the GEL-KAYANO 5 remains one of the most cherished of all the KAYANO line.

The new GEL-KAYANO 5 leather pack sticks to the '90s vibes of the OG, boasting a chunky DUOMAX sole, reflective heel detailing, and heavy use of overlays, but elevates it with full leather and suede uppers. Gray underlays, as well as an off white tooling, add depth and a premium touch to the all-white colorway.
