Woolrich

What do you get when you wrap A Bathing Ape in Buffalo Check? An odd query, but there's no doubting the answer would be the BAPE x Woolrich collection.

Although collaborations have felt relentless in the past decade and continue to feel as such in the 20s, there's something beautiful about seeing something unexpected come together, and work perfectly. BAPE and Woolrich – unexpected, but somehow, really works.

Straight off the off back of showcasing its Fall/Winter 2022 collection at Milan Fashion Week, Woolrich is keeping itself central to the spotlight with the unveiling of its upcoming BAPE team-up.

Best summarised as a collision of patterns, the collection takes the best of both brands for a concise arrangement of products.

Consisting of four pieces in total – an Arctic Parka, blankets, Ape Head cushions, and a t-shirt – the link-up offers a selection of winter warmers that reimagine what Ape Head camouflage and the iconic Buffalo Check would like thrown in a blender.

For the Arctic Parka, a staple of Woolrich, a wool jacquard blend fabric comes dressed in the remixed print. Functional details such as a removable fur-trimmed hood, rib-knit concealed storm cuffs, and handwarmer pockets have been sewn into the construction to make this a performance beast.

If your winter nights are lacking some cozy comforts, the Ape Head cushion is a playful touch, especially when coupled with the mix and match camouflage blanket.

There's no need to wait around; the BAPE x Woolrich Collection will be available in A BATHING APE authorized stores, Woolrich Flagship Stores, and both brands' online storefronts on January 22.
