Founded in 2017, Crenshaw Skate Club is a way for designer Tobey McIntosh to represent his community and wider LA skate culture. By bringing together a collective of his friends, McIntosh empowers, uplifts, and amplifies young entrepreneurs from Crenshaw through skating.

It’s been a wild ride since it was founded, too. Already stocked at Supreme, worn by Biebs, and counting collaborations with BBC ICECREAM, Nike, Lacoste, and the LA Clippers, Crenshaw Skate Club is on a seriously enviable trajectory for any young brand. But, until recently, the label has stuck to its bread and butter of tees and hoodies.

Now, thanks to the Browns x Crenshaw Skate Club collaboration, the label can capture a broader skate aesthetic which, in 2023, is inextricably linked to the luxury zeitgeist.

“This collaboration with Browns for FARFETCH Beat is very special and symbolic of CSC’s next step into the world of cut and sew, which has been a goal of mine ever since I was a kid,” says McIntosh, “With this exclusive, we’ve been able to take CSC’s message international which is to represent and empower inner-city skaters, and I hope that I can make inner-city skaters in other countries feel represented as well. The origin of CSC is hyperlocal, but the message can be applied to kids all over the world.”

Below, we’ve rounded up 8 of our top picks from the Browns x Crenshaw Skate Club collaboration.

Crenshaw Skate Club has thus far made its name with tees just like this one. It's where most skate brands begin their journey — a journey that, for CSC, is evolving into something more advanced.

CSC has always had an eye for bold graphic branding. While this pair of straight-leg jeans represent a new era for the brand in that they're cut-and-sew, they feature typical embroidered brand to the reverse.

A two-piece can sometimes look too regimented and forced. Pull it off, though, and a two-piece can be the ultimate style power move. This workwear co-ord definitely falls under the second category.

Possibly our favorite piece from the collection, the Square Work Jacket and Square Work Trousers come together to form an eye-catching display of graphics combined with a sense of refinement that far outweighs the brand's experience.
