Milan Design Week 2024 has now come and gone. With another Salone under our belts, we can take stock of what we got to see at this year’s iteration as we nurse our negroni hangovers.

One highlight came undoubtedly from C.P. Company, who launched an innovative new platform dedicated to sustainability and craftsmanship, lovingly dubbed LABORATORIO. This visionary initiative from the iconic Italian fashion brand was housed within the brand's showroom on Via G. Fiamma 18, and will now serve as a creative hub for the exploration of repair, upcycling, and customization.

C.P. Company has always been recognized for pushing the boundaries of the relationship between fashion and its wearers. In step with this long standing admiration for already loved garments and materials, LABORATORIO embraces this ethos further by diving deep into the entire lifecycle of a garment. From its initial conception to its final evolution, this hands-on approach reflects the brand's unwavering commitment to pioneering materials and techniques while cultivating a passionate engagement with each garment's unique journey.

Following its initial three-day long inaugural launch, LABORATORIO will go on to offer a series of workshops and talks centered around the core tenets of C.P. Company's DNA—innovative materials, the interplay between form and substance, and the art of garment dyeing.

And, in celebration of Milan Design Week as a whole, C.P. Company collaborated with renowned industry players such as GORE-TEX, United Repair Centre, One Block Down, Sample Research, Robyn Lynch, and Matthieu Ruiz. Together, these brands are united in a shared commitment to forward-thinking fashion and sustainable practices.

C.P. Company, C.P. Company

LABORATORIO represents a bold step forward in the fashion industry's quest for sustainability and ingenuity, positioning C.P. Company as a true leader in exploring the relationship between design, culture, and the environment. Don't miss this opportunity to witness the future of fashion in action.
