Chris Brown was arrested in Florida on Thursday night, in the midst of his nationwide tour. The singer was scheduled to perform at the Coral Sky Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach that evening.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to CNN that Brown was arrested on an outstanding out-of-county warrant from last year, however, gave no further details as to what the warrant was issued for.

The 29-year-old was booked and released shortly thereafter when he posted bail.

This isn’t Brown’s first run-in with the law. He was most notably charged with physical assault following an incident with his then-girlfriend, Rihanna, in 2009.

Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.

In other news, Cardi B has filed a counter-suit against her former manager. Find out why here.
