Editor’s Notes: The Chrome Hearts SS19 eyewear collection includes 15 new styles, both sun and optical, in a number of classic and new seasonal colorways. And with names like Vajammin’, Sluntuation and Cuntvoluted, it is sure to raise eyebrows.
Each frame is made from a custom palette of handmade Japanese and Italian acetate, tumbled for 72 hours and polished for maximum luster. You'll recognize the brand's gothic aesthetic throughout, from repeating BS Fleur decor and recurring Dagger, to the Spike motif.
Whilst gothic, the collection is especially colorful, with steampunk-inspired navigator frames featuring baby blue and rose pink lenses, and retro bevelled “TV-cut” frames rendered in matte white and “bordello” red.
