Diesel

What Coca-Cola is to soft beverages, Diesel is to denim. Both leaders in their game, the two are globally-recognized for their qualitative, reliable, and iconic products. Now, they’ve come together to create The (Re)Collection, a 12-piece apparel capsule that makes use of recycled PET and cotton.

“We are excited to partner with Diesel on this collection. Not only does The (Re)Collection generate awareness of the importance of recycling in a very approachable way - by showcasing beautiful fashions created from recycled materials - it’s also a collection that celebrates individuality,” said Coca-Cola’s VP of Global Licensing & Retail, Michelle Moorehead, on the collaboration.

Renzo Rosso, founder of Diesel, commented on the collaboration, “As a leading pioneer in denim and casual fashion, Diesel has always been known in the industry as an innovator. The (Re)Collection is a collaboration between two authentic and iconic brands that are both committed to a more responsible business. Inspired by our vision of the future, we are collaborating with Coca-Cola to explore new methods of creating fabrics, whilst challenging ourselves to incorporate recycled materials in our collections.”

Hero-ing the 12-piece drop is a unisex denim workwear jacket featuring Coca-Cola's iconic logo emblazoned across the back and stitching details in the beverage brand's signature red color. Additional denim silhouettes include workwear-inspired jeans and a pair of high-cut, frayed shorts. Alongside denim, the collection also features a tapered black tracksuit and cozy staples such as hoodies, sweatshirts, and t-shirts. Rounding off the capsule is a black-and-white beanie, a pair of swim shorts, and a scoop-back swimsuit.

The (Re)Collection drops worldwide on October 7 but, from September 27, conscientious shoppers will be able to access the capsule via a hidden sit on Diesel.com by scanning any recycling logo. On October 2, the collection will make its Berlin debut at an exclusive Highsnobiety-hosted event. Taking place at iconic former club, Prince Charles, the event will celebrate the drop with a bill of artists and performances you won't want to miss.
