Editor’s Notes: Following the  Concepts drop, Nike will now be releasing the two-sneaker Kyrie 6 collaboration through its SNKRS app. For this latest project Kyrie Irving's current signature sneaker, the Kyrie 6, is optioned in a "Khepri" iteration as well as a kids-exclusive "Golden Mummy" colorway.

The Khepri is named after the Egyptian solar deity represented by the scarab beetle, the god of creation. Associated with resurrection, Khepri is known for moving the sun above the horizon each day and then carrying it through the other world post sunset.

The Golden Mummy colorway draws inspiration from Concepts' founding as well as the discovery of the Valley of Mummies, both of which occurred in 1996. The metallic gold detailing featured throughout the sneaker points to the riches within tombs, while the hieroglyphs suggest there is more to be written as the future unfolds.

The Concepts x Nike Kyrie "Khepri" comes with exclusive packaging, while the "Golden Mummy" launches in grade school and preschool sizes.
