Daily Paper

There's something distinctly new in Daily Paper's Holiday Fall/Winter 2021 collection, as the brand takes a dip in the cold with a masterclass in vintage-inspired winter sports style.

Daily Paper's African roots run deep; they're ingrained in every corner of the brand through personal geography, interior design choices within its flagship stores, the talent it connects with on campaigns, and collaborations with homegrown superstars like Wizkid.

Down to the very core of its visual identity, the Daily Paper logo, the brand is close to synonymous with the continent itself, even though it's based in Amsterdam.

For the new mid-season Holiday Fall/Winter 2021 collection, the brand steps off the continent and takes its strong visual identity to the snowscapes akin to those of Chamonix and Avoriaz, with plenty of easy layers to match.

The campaign spotlights winter sports style aesthetics, complete with Daily Paper-branded gear, like goggles, helmets, and boots.

Key pieces that are sure to be instant draws within the lineup include logo monogram puffer jackets in variable lengths, lengthy scarves — all the better for cocooning against the cold — and a slick two-piece sherpa set that sports an oversized Daily Paper logo embossed in its rear.

A seasonal color palette of brown, orange, green, black, and blue brings the collection to life, making even the boldest pieces everyday wearables. Wonder if the Daily Paper snowboards will be for sale, too?

You can shop the Daily Paper FW21 Holiday collection from October 8 online and at global Daily Paper flagship stores.
