Editor's Notes: Kickers have been around the block a few times. Depending on where you grew up, you've probably seen (or worn) a fair few pairs during your school years. Nothing quite says back-to-school nostalgia like pulling on a pair of Kick Hi's, letting your leather hand tag swing free, and kicking a battered football.

Outside the school grounds, Kickers are symbolic of Manchester's music scene in the 80s, a scene that was thriving thanks to The Smiths, The Stone Roses, and New Order.

Since the brand's inception in 1975, it's come a long way. Moving through the Acid House, rave, and indie movements that called the city home, the Kick Hi is amongst the ranks of the Dr. Martens boot and Air Max 90 as British subcultural icons.

In celebration of Kickers, and specifically the Kick Hi's, long history within British youth culture, Goodhood lends its eye for detail. Presented as a two-pack Fall/Winter 2021 collaboration, the silhouette gets a modern makeover that'll make you start planning your school reunion.

Sophisticated and chic, the Goodhood x Kickers Kick Hi features matte leather (black) and mottled leather (white), with high contrast soles and high-quality logo-embossed leather fleurettes.
