Highsnobiety

When the latest edition of INNERSECT kicks off in Shanghai in January, thought pioneers from around the world will unite to explore the next chapter of street culture once again. This time, the three-day fair has linked with Fear of God's Jerry Lorenzo, tapping the creative as its first-ever co-curator. In turn, Lorenzo has reached out to a select number of talents from his personal contacts, all of whom will head to the fair to respond to the theme of "Balance."

As East Asia's leading fashion, art, tech, and music event, the fair is renowned for connecting the most influential names in the culture today. One such name is Jordan Page, the mind behind the IG platform, veryadvanced, who has hand-selected his top 10 must-cop products that will be on display at INNERSECT in January. Take a look at the selection below.

GR10K Windstopper Skelton Jacket

GR10K is a brand that I've had my eyes on for a bit now. In the midst of the gorp-core craze we've seen certain older brands dominate the scape, so it's refreshing to have more options. The Gore-Tex laced jacket will certainly protect you from harsh elements while the bright orange and gray color blocking will keep all eyes on you.

A Better Feeling Ginkgo Aluminum Candle

As I've grown, I've learned to appreciate well-made products outside of footwear and apparel and candles have definitely become a recent obsession of mine. Encased in a two-part vessel, ABF uses vegetable wax infused with notes of juniper, jasmine, rosehip, long grass, white amber, and fresh moss that will fill any room with a luminous scent. Also fun and clever is the diagram of a candle flame etched into the aluminum case.

Union x CPFM A Wider Circle Crewneck

The ever-elusive Cactus Plant Flea Market has joined forces with the legendary Union to release one of the more interesting streetwear collabs to round out 2021. CPFM's signature haphazard graphic design mixes nicely with the social and community-oriented messaging we're used to seeing from Union over the years. This crewneck is a must-have for those into large graphics.

LUAR Brown Ostrich Small ANA Bag

This one is for my mini-bag lovers out there. After a 2 year hiatus, LUAR has stormed back on the fashion scene with the ANA in 2021. Anyone looking for the heir-apparent to Telfar's "it" bag, look no further. And like Telfar, LUAR is fairly reasonably priced compared to other luxury leather bags all while being 100 percent leather.

AFFWRKS Audial Zip Sweatshirt

A new project from a star-studded team including Kiko Kostadinov, Taro Ray, Stephen Mann, and Michael Kopelman AFFXWRKS audial zip sweatshirt is the perfect piece for the fashionable and cozy. The heavy cotton half-zip boasts a kangaroo pocket, tonal side graphics, back logo, and adjustable hem to keep the cold out. Look out for more dope staples, including hoodies and tees, from AFFXWRKS.

Salomon XT Quest

I've kept a pair of Salomons in my footwear rotation for almost four years now with absolutely no regrets, and the XT Quest in beige is next up on my "must cop" list. Salomon, more than any other technical footwear brand, implements a great sense of design that pairs well with other gorp-core brands as well as looks from other sartorial trends. It's why they will continue to have a strong presence even after the outdoor technical wear fad subsides.

BE@RBRICK x Innersect 2021

Clearly, BE@RBRICK needs no introduction but I must say I simply love this piece because it evokes some weird domestic nostalgia by reminding me of my grandma's fine china. And if I ever find myself in possession of one, like my grandma's fine china, it will be securely placed in a location for no one to touch. Ever.

HYMNE Tonal Check Track Pants Navy

"Made in Portugal" so you know it's good. HYMNE is an awesome brand breathing fresh air into the Los Angeles fashion scene and these overdyed patchwork track pants are absolutely out of this world. These look upcycled and functional, almost like BODE and Arc'teryx joined forces.

Profound Button Down Shirt 3 Multiplaid

The patchwork trend seems to be ramping up and I'm very happy to bear witness. What I love about Profound's take on this trend is that the silhouette is that of your typical button-down but the asymmetry happens within the confines of the shirt giving it a polished yet edgy feel. A must-have for the colder months if you ask me.

Labrum Indigo Denim Trousers

I am absolutely in love with these trousers. Everything from the construction to the silhouette and how they fall over the shoes to the wash. Labrum is one of the most exciting brands out there and creative director, Foday Dumbaya really knocked these pants out of the park. Baggy jeans forever.
