I’m happy to say that I’m currently the proud owner of a set of Tekla bedsheets. Organic, soft, and crisp to the touch, the slightly-aged sage tone of the 200-thread count bedding compliments a meticulously-arranged ensemble of foliage at the head of the bed.

I’m not pretentious, nor am I a weirdo (I realise that's exactly what a weirdo would say), I’ve just simply become obsessed with nice bedding since falling on the wrong side of 30. Not a crime, is it?

Anyway, such is the definition of an obsession – an idea or thought that continually preoccupies or intrudes on a person's mind – I’m craving more bedtime goodness in my old age, which is handy because JJJJound and Tekla are in cahoots.

Slated to be dropping online at Tekla on September 29, the duo are set to release a co-branded bedding set collaboration, comprising a duvet cover, pillow sham, and flat sheet, in a colorway that will also go with the aforementioned foliage.

Realized in a 180gsm linen (which is dead heavy), the bedding arrives with logo embroidery and branded buttons for good measure, too.

This release sees a busy 2022 continue for both brands, who have each dropped a number of collaborations so far this year.

Tekla – who released their ultra-limited red sleepwear earlier this month – reunited with Stüssy for a beachwear collection, while JJJJound has linked with ASICS, PUMA, Reebok, and New Balance (shocker).

Despite the myriad of collaborations, JJJJound x Tekla might just be the most satisfying release yet. Not necessarily the best, but certainly one you shouldn’t sleep on. Or maybe you should? I dunno.
