Highsnobiety

Just because Justin Bieber is taking a break from music doesn't mean he's ignoring what's going on in the industry. The 25-year-old pop superstar took to Instagram just yesterday to share his thoughts on the new generation of rap and one hip-hop veteran in particular who isn't here for it.

Bieber began by posting himself listening to Eminem's "The Ringer" from his 2018 album Kamikaze. In the song, Em expresses his distain for mumble rap, specifically targeting the likes of Lil Xan and Lil Pump. Biebs, however, came to the aid of such younger rappers by stating, "I just like Em's flow but don't like that he's dissing new rappers I like the new generation of rap he just doesn't understand it."

Eminem isn't exactly one to shy away from controversy, so we wouldn't be surprised to hear the 46-year-old rapper coming at Justin Bieber (again) on a new track. Nonetheless, let us know what you think of JB's comments regarding Eminem. Does he have a point or should he fall back?
