What We’re Saying: American footwear brand KangaROOS has flipped the script, allowing collectors to become collaborators. As part of its ROOS United campaign, the brand is connecting sneaker collectors from around Europe and allowing them to design a Made in Germany style of their choice in teams of two.

Morprime and Tommy Triggah make up the first team. The duo have chosen the Racer Hybrid model and dubbed the project “The Inside Job.” On Instagram, the collectors-turned-creators explained that their “motive behind the design was to create an immensely wearable shoe that used colours and materials we take pleasure in seeing on trainers. It was important to do something different, whilst looking to create a product that we as consumer AND collectors are used to - something that's familiar and fits OUR personalities.”
