Editor’s Notes: After more than a year of rumors and leaks, Nike has officially confirmed that the “Bred” Nike Air Jordan 4 will be retro-ed today, May 4. While the drop is expected to be a wide release, a few lucky sneakerheads got their hands on the Nike Air jordan 4 “Bred” already when it surprise-dropped on the brand's SNKRS app.

With the Air Jordan 4 celebrating its 30th anniversary, the silhouette is set to be the subject of numerous releases throughout 2019. This likely includes collaborations as well as re-releases of coveted OG colorways.

Staying true to the OG, much in the same way the “Infrared" Air Jordan 6 did in February, the “Bred” Air Jordan 4 features a black upper with red and gray detailing. Most importantly for Jordan fans, the "Nike Air" branding is back on the heel for the first time since the 1999 retro, replacing the Jumpman of recent years.

This Air Jordan 4 “Bred” retro will also be arriving in big kid, little kid, and toddler sizes.
