Editor’s Notes: After receiving a teaser from the man himself earlier in the month, we now have an official look at Kyrie Irving's next Nike signature, the Kyrie 7. The mega sportswear brand introduced the sneaker today, giving us a taste of the colorways that will be releasing very soon.

The Kyrie 7 is made to meet the demands of Irving's spontaneous playing style. To help Kyrie remain in control while moving in and out of hard cuts, the sneaker features a 360-degree traction pattern. This Kyrie hallmark is incorporated onto a sole unit that extends up the shoe's sides to maximize traction during sudden changes of direction.

“We've consistently made sure that the features of my shoe translate over to me and my game," said Irving. "Talking about creativity, you're constantly exploring new ways of doing things. I'm always thinking about how we can grow existing silhouettes or try something completely new."

To reduce the overall weight of the shoe, designer Ben Nethongkome removed the grooves in the outsole that separate areas of color-blocking. This has made the Kyrie 7 lighter than its predecessor.

Below you can see five early colorways of the Kyrie 7. The BK black iteration (slide one) will release on November 23, following the arrival of the four launch colorways on November 11.
