Editor's Notes: Some pairings were just meant to be. Bread and butter, tuna and mayo, pepperoni and pizza; you know the drill. Where sneakers are concerned, few designers and footwear brands have achieved symbiosis quite like KITH's Ronnie Fieg and New Balance.

While it's certainly become difficult to talk about New Balance's sneaker offering without mentioning Teddy Santis' efforts at the helm of Made in USA or his ALD crossovers, Ronnie Fieg owns a spotlight all his own within the brand.

Over the years, he's crafted some of the NB community's most favored silhouettes, with a stacked arsenal of styles that have included the RC 1000, 990v2, 530, 990v3, and 850, amongst others.

While Fieg originally planned to drop his latest team-up with New Balance on Black Friday (one of, if not the biggest day of retail spending due to astronomical discounts), the duo have ultimately decided to release the shoe on November 23, the day before Thanksgiving.

Fieg, never one to disappoint, crafts his new take on the 993, dubbed "Pistachio," from rich suede and mesh, pairing a soft green upper (the same shade as the shoe's namesake nut) with a shell-like white that dresses the sole and laces.

There's nothing bad to say about this collab — it's a solid pair that will certainly do the rounds once the summer heats back up next year.
