Over the weekend, The Weeknd took to the latest episode of OVO Sound Radio to debut a very new twist on a familiar classic. Titled "Down Low," the Starboy's latest is a cover of R. Kelly's 1995 hit "Down Low (Nobody Has to Know)." Stream it below.
Fortunately the cover is a jam, as - in case you forgot - the timing of honoring an R. Kelly staple could be better. Kelly is in the midst of a criminal investigation into his role in organizing an alleged 'sex cult,' and has subsequently cancelled the remainder of his ongoing tour.
On a lighter note, The Weeknd is still engrossed with a tour of his own, the mammoth set of dates that is his 'Starboy: Legends of the Fall' Tour. He also recently appeared in the Virgil Abloh-directed visual for Lil Uzi Vert's "XO Tour Llif3." Revisit that below.
In other music news, Drake and Justin Bieber are among the artists who have joined Bun B's telethon for Hurricane Harvey. Get the scoop on that right here.
